LATOYA Lyakurwa who represented the country in the Big Brother Africa 3 competition in South Africa, returned home yesterday to a lacklustre reception and said what happened inside the House was just part of the game.

Lyakurwa who became the first contestant to be evicted from the M-Net’s reality TV show, pleaded with Tanzanians not to make a harsh judgement of her actions in the House.

“What I did in the House was all part of the game and I never meant to offend anyone,” she said upon arrival at the Mwalimu Nyerere International Airport.

Her eviction last Sunday ended the 21-year-old secretary’s 28-day stay in the House.
She attributed her early eviction to the fact that majority of African fans were determined to vote out the Tanzanian candidate after the country’s impressive showing in the two previous contests.

She complained that some parts of the positive things she was doing in the house were not shown and noted that the hardest part of her stay was when she was told to leave the house and go to the Rubbish Dump.

“On other hand I am glad that I was evicted because I missed badly the freedom I am enjoying now,” she said.

She predicted that Angolan envoy Ricco would win this year’s event adding that Uti, TK and Munya are her favourites among the remaining housemates.

Latoya met at the airport yesterday with Tatiana-Angola’s BBA envoy last year who arrived in the country at the invitation of the ministry of health to fulfill her role as goodwill ambassador in the war against elephantiasis.
