Mnet’s Africa Big Brother 3 biased

Sun, 07 Sep 2008 11:50:00 +0000

DEAR EDITOR–On Sunday (31 August 2008) on of the housemates in the Big Brother Africa show (TK) urinated in the garden and there were no text messages (SMS's) which complained about this.

Themba Dube – Opinion

Some time ago Mnet also had a programme called Project Fame. One week Tumi and Johan were up for possible eviction. They couldn't show enough SMS’s which accuse Tumi of urinating in the pool. He did not even do that. Is this what they call a game? If they have an issue with Tumi urinating why did they say nothing about TK? What kind of game do they play? (This whole issue about Tumi and Johan was nothing else but racism from the side of white "viewers." They just want Tumi to leave and Mnet played along.

They also like to call some of the housemates "childish", but they will not say it from others who are even more childish. If they want to call this thing a game, they must be fair. Every game is supposed to be fair, but their games are not funny. They will accuse some housemates of something and if someone else does exactly the same thing, they will ignore that and no SMS’s will be shown. Is this a game? No, it is not! <<more.....>>
